We are located at 335 Market Road in Chickpet. If you know Chickpet, you know how crowded and busy it gets every single day. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. We have been selling watches and clocks from this same spot for a long time. The shop is narrow and the walls are covered from floor to ceiling with different timepieces. It has a specific smell of old metal and oil. My uncle used to run the place, and I took over after he retired. We spend a lot of our day sitting at the small workbench near the window, peering through a magnifying glass at tiny gears and springs. It is quiet work in a very loud neighborhood. We get all sorts of customers, from people looking for a cheap plastic watch for work to those bringing in old family heirlooms that haven't ticked in twenty years. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. The lighting is a bit dim, and the floor tiles are worn down from years of feet walking over them. We don't do any big advertising. Most people find us because they were already shopping on Market Road and saw our sign. It is a simple life and a simple business. We just like watches and we like being part of the Chickpet market community.
