You can find us at number 65 in the Rajajinagar GIDC Industrial Estate. We focus on making various tools and components that other businesses use for their own production. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of machine oil is pretty strong. That’s just how a machine shop is, I guess. We’ve got a few old lathes and some newer equipment too, depending on what kind of job we’re tackling that week. It's mostly precision work, so we have to be careful with the measurements. If we’re off by even a tiny bit, the whole part is useless. My staff and I have been doing this for years, so we’ve gotten a feel for the metal. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our overalls working on a component or checking a blueprint. We get orders for all sorts of things, some small and some quite heavy. It’s honest work and it feels good to see a finished pile of parts ready to go out the door at the end of the day. The industrial estate is a busy place, and we’re just one of the many shops here trying to do a solid job. We just take it one order at a time and try to keep the machines running smooth. It’s loud and greasy, but it’s what we know how to do best.
