Our workshop is at number 439 in the Peenya 1st Stage Industrial Area. If you know Bangalore at all, you know Peenya is a huge place with lots of factories. We’ve been in this particular spot for a long time. G S Gears India Pvt Ltd is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a lot of machinery and the smell of oil, which is pretty standard for this part of town. We make gears for all sorts of uses. The building is older and has seen better days, but the machines inside work just fine. We have a crew of guys who have been cutting metal here for years. It’s loud and it gets hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going. We don't really have a front office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us on the shop floor. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to get the orders out on time. The traffic in Peenya can be a real headache, especially in the evenings, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the work on the bench and don't worry too much about the rest. It’s a simple, hardworking environment. We started with just one machine and grew bit by bit, and we’re still here doing our thing every single day.
