G R Engineering Works

G R Engineering Works is a small metal shop located at 933, 8th A Main in Prakash Nagar. We do various types of fabrication and repair work. The place is often quite loud because of the welding and the grinding machines we use all day. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist to greet you at the door. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us working on a piece of steel or fixing a machine part. The floor is always covered in iron filings and scrap metal, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We take on small jobs that big companies won't bother with, like fixing a broken gate or making a custom bracket for someone’s house. Prakash Nagar is a busy area, and our street is pretty narrow, so it can be tricky when a customer brings in something large. We’ve been working with tools for a long time, so we have a pretty good feel for how to fix things that seem broken. We take a break in the afternoon when the sun is at its peak, usually grabbing some coffee from the stall down the road. We don't have any big goals of becoming a massive factory. We just like the work we do and the fact that we can help the people in our neighborhood. It’s a bit of a messy job, but it’s what we know how to do.
