Finetech Toolings

Finetech Toolings is our little workshop out in Whitefield. We’re situated in the Midc stl 2 A area. It’s an industrial patch, so there’s always the sound of machines and metal clanking nearby. We have a few lathes and some basic equipment for the work. It’s not a massive factory by any means. Mostly, it’s just me and two other guys working on whatever orders come in that week. The floor is usually covered in some oil or metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep up. We don’t have a fancy office for meetings. There’s just a small desk in the corner with a computer that’s getting a bit slow. We deal with tools and metal parts. People from other units around Whitefield come to us when they need something specific made or fixed. We’ve been at this spot for about five years now. The rent goes up every year, but we stay because the location is good for the workshops around us. It gets really hot in the afternoons because the roof is just tin sheets. We drink a lot of tea from the stall next door to keep going. We don’t do any advertising. Word of mouth is how we get all our work. If we do a decent job, the neighbor tells someone else, and that’s that. It’s a simple way to run a business. We focus on the metal and the machines. Sometimes a machine breaks down, and we spend all day fixing it. We eat lunch together on the workbench.
