F Bar And Kitchen

Ali Askar Road is a pretty busy place to be, and that is where you will find F Bar And Kitchen. We are at number 18 on Cunningham Road in Vasanth Nagar. It is not a very quiet area, especially with all the cars and people moving around throughout the day. I guess that’s just how it is in this part of the city. We spend a lot of our time in the kitchen area, getting things ready before the doors even open. There is always a lot of chopping and cleaning to do. The floor needs sweeping every few hours because people bring in dirt from the street. It’s a simple place with some tables and chairs, nothing too fancy. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just focus on the cooking and making sure people have a place to sit. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and we just try to keep the fans running so it’s not too bad inside. Other times, when it rains, everyone from the street tries to crowd into the doorway. We see a lot of the same people every day, mostly folks who work in the nearby offices or live around Vasanth Nagar. They just want a meal and a bit of a break from their day. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, but it’s what we do here at number 18.
