Essentials

Essentials is a small shop located at No.107/8 on Coles Road in Frazer Town. We are right near the Bank of Baroda. Bangalore is a busy city, but Frazer Town still has its own feel. Our shop is where we keep all the basic things people might need in a hurry. It’s not a massive supermarket, just a local spot. The shelves are often packed tight because we try to fit as much as possible into the space. I’m usually there from early morning, getting things ready for the day. We get a lot of people walking by on their way to work or coming home in the evening. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road, and it gets a bit chaotic, but that’s just life on Coles Road. We don't have a fancy marketing plan. We just put stuff on the shelves and hope it’s what people are looking for. If we don’t have something, we try to get it by the next day. It’s a hands-on business. I do the cleaning, the stocking, and the billing myself most of the time. The floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic, but it shows we’ve been here a while. If you live in Frazer Town, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. We're just a normal part of the street. It’s hard work, but we like the routine and the neighbors who stop by. We try to keep it simple and useful for everyone.
