We’ve been over here on Peenya Tigalarapalya Main Road for quite a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of the machines running and the guys getting through the work orders we have on the desk. It gets pretty loud and dusty in the shop, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with engineering stuff all day. Peenya 2nd stage is a busy place, and we’re right in the middle of all that noise. We started out small and mostly just do what needs to be done to keep things moving. There’s usually some metal scrap lying around and the smell of oil is always there in the morning when we open up. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We spend most of our time on the floor making sure the parts are right. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break, but mostly it is just steady work from morning until the sun goes down. People around here know where to find us if they need something fixed or fabricated. We don’t really do much talking, we just get to the tasks. It’s a practical way to earn a living and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the machines. The street outside is always crowded with trucks, which makes it feel like things are always happening. We just keep our heads down and handle the projects as they come in.
