We’re located on Residency Road, which anyone in Bangalore knows is one of the busier streets you could pick. Escorts Ltd is on the first floor of the Dhondusa Complex, at No.9/1. Being up a flight of stairs means we don’t get as many random walk-ins as the shops on the ground floor, but people who need us usually find their way up. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it serves its purpose. We have desks, some filing cabinets, and the usual gear you’d expect. From the windows, you can hear the constant hum of cars and bikes outside. It’s a bit of a contrast to the quiet inside where we’re usually focused on whatever task is at hand. We handle a lot of administrative and technical things here. It’s not always the most exciting work, but it’s important to the people we serve. We’ve been in this building for quite a while, so we’ve seen shops come and go. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. The staff here is small, and we’ve worked together for long enough that we don’t need to say much to get things done. We grab lunch from the nearby places and then get back to it. It’s a steady routine. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home to our families at the end of the day.
