Encore Events

We’re over at number 22 in the Amarjothy Layout, which is part of the Damlur Extension in Bangalore. Encore Events is basically just a small team of us working out of this space. It’s not one of those massive event firms with a fancy lobby and a dozen assistants. We have a lot of stuff stored in the back—decorations, cables, and various things we need for setting up. The office itself is pretty simple. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different venues, so the layout is often quiet during the day. Damlur is a good spot for us, tucked away but still easy enough for people to get to when they need to visit. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who have seen what we do at other events. It can get pretty messy in here when we’re preparing for a big day, with stuff scattered everywhere. We just try to keep it organized enough to find what we need. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses and some houses. It’s a relaxed atmosphere until a big deadline hits. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just plan events and make sure things show up when they are supposed to. It’s hard work and it isn't always pretty, but we like the results.
