We have been running things here at Elheat Ceramic Engineering for quite some time now. Our place is tucked away in Peenya 2nd Cross, specifically at B93 in the 1st Stage. If you have ever been to this part of Bangalore, you know how industrial it is. There are trucks everywhere and the noise of metal hitting metal never really stops. We deal with ceramic stuff mostly, which is a bit of a messy business if you aren't used to the dust and the high temperatures. The workers here are mostly local guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than I do sometimes. We usually open up early because the heat gets a bit much by noon, especially when the kilns are running. It's not a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere, just a practical space where we get the work done. The 2nd Cross is a bit narrow, so getting large deliveries in can be a bit of a headache. We often have to coordinate with the neighbors to make sure the road isn't blocked for too long. Sometimes we sit outside for tea when the power goes out, which happens more than we would like. It’s just how it is around here. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. The focus is always on the parts we are making and making sure the orders are ready on the day they're supposed to be.
