Elgo Impex

Elgo Impex is based at 351 Basaveshwara Nagar. It’s a decent-sized place for what we do. We handle a lot of import and export stuff, so there’s usually a lot of talk about shipping schedules and customs papers. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with computers and a lot of box files. Basaveshwara Nagar is a good area, and we’ve been at this address for quite some time. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Our work involves a lot of phone calls, often at odd hours because of the time differences with other countries. It can be a bit stressful when a shipment is delayed, but that’s just the nature of the business. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to see who it is. The desks are always covered in scraps of paper with tracking numbers scribbled on them. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. From packing a stray box to filing taxes, we just handle it as it comes. It’s a practical way to run things, and it has worked for us so far in this Basaveshwara Nagar office. We just take it one shipment at a time and deal with the challenges as they pop up.
