Badra Engineering Works

Our shop is at number 56 on the 15th Cross, right in the 7th Main area. It’s pretty close to Poonam Furniture, which is a big landmark for people trying to find us in Electronic City. Badra Engineering Works has been running out of this spot for a bit now. It is a noisy place, mostly because of the machines and the welding that goes on all day. We deal with a lot of metal parts and fixing things that people bring in. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, but we try to sweep up every evening before we head home. It’s not the kind of place you come to sit down and have tea, but we have a small bench near the front if you need to wait for a part to be finished. Most of our work is for the local factories or small businesses around here that need something welded or a specific part made on the lathe. We have a few guys who have been doing this for years, so they know the machines pretty well. The 15th Cross can get a little tight with trucks moving in and out, so parking is sometimes a bit of a pain. We just open up early, get the lights on, and start working on whatever is on the list for the day. It’s honest work and we just keep at it until the sun goes down.
