Eastern Fair Music School

Eastern Fair Music School is located in Jakasandra, at house number 121. If you know the area, it's a bit tucked away, which is actually good because we make a lot of noise. Between the guitars, the keyboards, and the drums, it can get pretty loud during the afternoon sessions. We aren't some massive institution with hundreds of teachers; it's more of a local place where kids and adults from around the neighborhood come to learn a few tunes. The rooms are small and usually filled with instrument cases and music stands. It feels a bit cluttered, but that’s just how it is when you’re teaching music. We don’t have a big front desk or a fancy waiting area. Usually, parents just sit on the plastic chairs in the hallway while they wait for their kids. We’ve been in Jakasandra for a while now, and we’ve seen a lot of students come and go. Some get really good and some just do it for fun, which is fine by us. We don't really push anyone too hard, we just want people to enjoy playing. The traffic in this part of town can be a mess in the evenings, so we always have people running a bit late for their lessons. We just adjust the schedule and keep going. It's a nice way to spend the day, surrounded by music, even if it’s the same scales being practiced over and over.
