About Earthen Oven Restaurant – Tourism in Bengaluru
We’ve been here at No. 76 on Residency Road for a good while now. If you know this part of town, you know the traffic can get pretty loud outside, but once you step in, it’s mostly just the smell of the clay ovens. My name is part of the small crew that keeps things running day to day. We start early in the morning getting the charcoal ready and checking the stock. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. The kitchen gets hot, especially in the afternoons, but that is just how it goes when you’re working with tandoors. We aren’t a fancy place with a bunch of rules. Most people who come in are regulars from the nearby offices or folks just passing through 560025 who need a solid meal. The chairs are comfortable enough, and the lighting isn’t too bright. Sometimes the floor gets a bit scuffed from all the feet moving through, but we try to keep it tidy. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. We just focus on the food and making sure the orders go out reasonably fast. Sometimes when the road outside is blocked up, we just watch the cars crawl by from the window. It is a simple setup here, nothing too complicated. We’ve got our routine down, from opening the shutters to cleaning up late at night. It’s just us, doing what we do every day on Residency Road.
