Dutch Touch

Our shop, Dutch Touch, is tucked away in Jayanagar at 271 Sakalajee Market. We are pretty close to the Telephone Exchange, which is how most people find their way to us. Being in a market like Sakalajee means it is always a bit noisy and there is always something happening outside the door. It is a small space but it works for what we do. We have been here in Jayanagar for a while now. The market has its own rhythm and we are just a part of that daily routine. It is not the kind of place with air conditioning and glass doors. It is more of a walk-in, say hello, and get what you need kind of setup. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the traffic near the exchange, but that is just life in this part of town. We do not really have a big marketing plan or anything fancy. People just know we are at number 271. We try to keep things in order, but in a busy market, it is a constant battle. We like being near the Telephone Exchange because everyone knows where that is. If you are wandering through Jayanagar, you might stumble upon us. We are not trying to be anything we are not. It is just a small business trying to do its thing every day. We see the same faces every week and that is one of the nice things about being in a local market. It is home for us.
