Durgamba Engineering Works

You can find Durgamba Engineering Works over in Venktadri Estate, which is in the Cokkanahalli area near Hedge Nagar. It’s part of Yelahanka New Town, and we are situated quite close to Diana College. The workshop is a busy place, usually filled with the sound of welding or metal being cut. We have been here for a bit, and it’s a typical engineering shop with scrap metal piled in the corners and tools scattered across the benches. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor dealing with whatever project is currently on the lathes. It’s a bit out of the way for some people, but those who need engineering work done eventually find their way to our gate behind the college. The weather in Yelahanka can be a bit unpredictable, and sometimes the rain beats down on our metal roof so loud we can't hear each other speak. We just keep working through it. Our team is small and we don't use any corporate jargon. We just look at the blueprints or the broken parts and figure out how to fix them or make new ones. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of life. We don’t have a mission or a slogan, we just have a pile of work that needs finishing by the end of the week. It’s just how we run things here.
