We are set up at 9 Marathahalli, right near the Ferns Icon building. This part of town gets really busy with all the traffic, but it’s a good spot for what we do. Dsv Air & Sea deals with a lot of logistics, moving things from one place to another across the water or through the air. Our office is where the coordination happens. There’s a lot of talking on phones and keeping track of schedules. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s necessary for getting goods moved around. The space we have is functional. We have desks, computers, and maps on the walls to see where things are headed. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. Most of the people working here have been in the shipping business for years, so we know how it goes when things get delayed or changed at the last minute. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and shipping manifests. It’s a constant cycle of checking and re-checking. The area around Ferns Icon is full of other businesses too, so there’s always something going on outside. We usually grab lunch at one of the small stalls nearby. It’s a decent place to work, even if the commute through Marathahalli can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We’re just a team trying to keep the freight moving without too many hitches and keeping the logs updated every day.
