D.K. Jain Architect

D.K. Jain Architect is run out of Fa Fa Cottage. It’s a bit of a funny name for a building, but it makes it easy to find. We are located at 4 Cross, right opposite the Co Operation Bank in the Kempapura area of Hebbal, Bangalore. The zip code here is 560001. Working in Hebbal means we’re always aware of the traffic, but our little corner near the bank is slightly more tucked away. The cottage itself has some character, though the plumbing can be a bit moody sometimes. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of cabinets filled with blueprints from years ago. We have a small porch where we sometimes stand to get some air when the office gets too stuffy. It’s a very local operation. We don't have a big sign with lights or a fancy website team. It’s just Mr. Jain and the rest of us handling whatever comes through the door. Bangalore has changed so much, but this little spot feels like it’s stayed the same for a while. We spend the day drinking coffee—lots of it—and working through the technical details of whatever project is on the desk. It’s not a place for big speeches or polished presentations. It’s a place for people who like to draw and build things. We like being across from the bank because everyone knows where that is. It makes giving directions a whole lot easier for everyone involved.
