Dj Bobby

You can find me, Dj Bobby, over at Barton Center on MG Road. I'm on the second floor. MG Road is always crowded, so being right in the middle of it is quite something. The building is one of those well-known ones, so people don’t usually get lost. I spend a lot of time here when I'm not out at a gig. The office is where I keep my music collection and some of my gear. It’s a small space, mostly just filled with records, speakers, and wires everywhere. It’s not the neatest place, but it works for me. I’ve been in the music scene for a while now. Living and working around MG Road means there is always something going on. Sometimes I just sit and listen to tracks or practice some transitions. People come by to talk about their weddings or club nights. It’s a very casual setup. No suits or ties here. I just like playing music and making sure the sound is right. If you’re walking down MG Road, you just head into Barton Center and take the stairs or the lift to the second floor. I might be there or I might be out setting up somewhere. It’s a busy life but I enjoy it. It’s just me doing my thing. I usually have some headphones around my neck and a few playlists ready to go. MG Road has a certain energy that keeps me moving even when it's late at night. Sometimes the traffic is bad, but I don't mind the noise.
