Divine Drugs

Divine Drugs is situated at 107/6 on Shankar Mutt Road, right next to the Vijaya Bank in Gandhi Bazaar, Basavanagudi. This area is famous for its markets and temples, so it is always lively and full of energy. Being next to the bank makes it easy for people to find us, though the traffic on Shankar Mutt Road can be a real headache in the afternoons. Our place is quite busy with people coming in for their pharmaceutical needs. We have a lot of different items packed into the space we have. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when the deliveries arrive and we have to find room for all the new boxes. The staff here is pretty laid back, but we keep busy throughout the day. You can usually hear the sounds of the market outside—vendors calling out and bells ringing from the nearby temples. We don’t have any fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a practical shop where we keep track of medicines and health supplies. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little bit, and we have to be careful about the stock near the door. We’ve been part of the Basavanagudi community for a while and most of us enjoy the atmosphere of Gandhi Bazaar despite the noise. It is just a regular part of our lives, showing up and making sure the shop is ready for whoever walks through the door next.
