Devraj Ahuja Haryana Handloom Centre is located over in Yeshwantpur. We have been here for a good while, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Our shop is full of handloom items that we keep stacked up in every available corner. It is a practical place, not a showroom designed to look pretty in pictures. We care more about having the right items on hand than about having the latest floor designs. The work day starts early for us because Yeshwantpur is a place where things get moving fast. We don't have a lot of fancy talk or a corporate handbook. We just know our products and we know how to help someone find what they are looking for without making a big deal out of it. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, and we have to spend time cleaning the displays, but that is part of being in this area. We aren't trying to be the biggest business around, just a reliable one where people can find what they need for their homes. Most of the people who come in are locals or folks who have been told about us by their parents. We like that word-of-mouth way of doing things. It feels more natural than paying for big signs. We just stay here in Yeshwantpur and keep doing what we have always done.
