Devendra Drug House

We are located at number 77/5 in the Kalyan Building over in Balepet. We are actually right below the Syndicate Bank, which makes it easy for people to find us. Balepet is a very old area of the city and the streets are quite narrow. It gets very crowded during the afternoons. Our shop has been here for a long time. It feels a bit cramped sometimes because of all the stock we have to keep. We have racks and racks of different drugs and supplies stacked up to the ceiling. I spend most of my day climbing ladders or checking invoices on the old wooden desk. The lighting isn't the best in the back of the store but we know where everything is. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here even if we aren't all related. We drink tea together in the mornings before the rush starts. The bank upstairs is always noisy with people stomping around on the floor above us. You get used to it after a while. We don't have any fancy marketing. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to show up. It’s a practical way to run a business. We stay open pretty late to make sure everyone gets what they need. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts, but we keep a few candles and a torch handy just in case things go dark suddenly.
