Devaraj Shivappa

I run my small business from my home in Shankar Nagar at C 1712. My name is Devaraj Shivappa, and most people around here just know me by that name rather than a company title. I have been in this neighborhood for a long time, and I started doing this work to help out with various local needs. It is not a formal office with a lobby or anything like that. I just have a desk and a chair in a quiet part of my house where I handle my paperwork and take phone calls. My work involves a lot of different tasks, from helping neighbors with logistics to coordinating small services in the area. It is very much a one-man operation. I don't have any staff or a website to show off what I do. Instead, I rely on my reputation and the fact that people know where to find me if they need something done right. I spend quite a bit of time out and about, meeting people or checking on small projects. It is a simple way of life, and I enjoy being my own boss and working at my own pace. I try to be as helpful as I can to whoever comes to me. It isn't a big, fancy business, just me doing my part and earning a living in the place I have called home for years.
