Design Forum Architectural Studio

We are located in Vijaynagar, which is a part of Bangalore that always feels busy no matter what time it is. Our studio, Design Forum Architectural Studio, is tucked away in this neighborhood where everyone seems to know each other. We don't have a giant sign or a shiny lobby. It’s a simple setup where we do our architectural work. Most of the day is spent sketching or looking at computer screens, trying to make sense of what a client needs for their house or building. The air in Vijaynagar has that specific local feel, and we’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the street don't even bother us anymore. We aren't a corporate office with a HR department and dress codes. Usually, we're just in jeans, drinking tea and arguing over where a wall should go. It’s a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from drawing lines to answering the phone. Getting around this part of the city can be a headache with the narrow lanes, but we like being central. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. We just show people what we’ve done before if they ask. The space is a bit cramped with all the samples and rolls of paper lying around. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office. We just take things one project at a time and try to stay busy.
