Our shop is tucked away in the 1st Block of Gurumurthy Reddy Layout. Ramamurthy Nagar has changed a lot over the years, but we are still here at 429/19. It’s a typical engineering workspace. There is usually a bit of grease on the floor and the smell of cut metal in the air. We do a lot of different mechanical jobs. Sometimes it is small parts for local machines, and other times it is bigger pieces of equipment that take a few weeks to get right. We aren’t really the type to wear suits or sit in meetings all day. Usually, we are out on the floor making sure the lathes are running right or checking the specs on a new order. Bangalore weather is usually okay, but when it rains, the layout gets a bit messy and deliveries slow down. We just keep working through it. Most of the guys here live nearby, so we know the neighbors well. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down for a minute. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People mostly find us because someone told them we do decent work. It’s just us, some heavy machines, and a lot of steel. We try to keep the noise down for the people living nearby, but engineering is rarely a quiet business. It's a steady life, just making things one day at a time.
