Our office for Deckel Maho Gildemeister India Pvt Limited is down in Bangalore. We are located at 707 on the 2nd floor, which is on 25th Cross, 9th Main. Bangalore is a big city and there is always something going on, but this part of the city is where we handle our business. We deal with industrial machinery and parts mostly. The office is usually full of people on the phones or checking inventory lists. It’s a bit of a climb to the second floor, but it’s a good space once you get there. We’ve been here in Karnataka for a while now. Most days involve coordinating with suppliers and making sure the technicians have what they need for their site visits. It's a lot of logistical work, really. The traffic on 9th Main can be a headache in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries done early in the morning. We don’t have a fancy showroom here, just the necessary office space to keep the company running. It's practical and it works for us. We get a lot of mail and packages since we deal with engineering components. People who work in the industry know us, and we mostly deal with other businesses. It’s a professional environment but we keep it pretty down-to-earth. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else in the city.
