Dass Engineering Works

You can find Dass Engineering Works over at number 13 on the Race Course Road. We are near the Kodichikkanahalli Main Road in the Kammagondanahalli neighborhood. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but most locals just know the area by the main landmarks. We do a lot of fabrication and repair work here. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of grease, which is just how an engineering workshop should be. We have a few old machines that still run better than the new ones we bought last year. It’s a loud place, especially when the welding is going on, so we usually have to shout to be heard over the noise. We’ve been at this location for years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. There are more shops now than there used to be. We don't have a fancy reception area or a secretary. Usually, you just walk in and find whoever is not currently under a machine to talk to. We handle things as they come in. Sometimes we are very busy and other times we have a bit of a lull where we can finally organize the scrap metal pile out back. It’s honest work and we enjoy the challenge of fixing things that others say can't be fixed. We’ve been a part of this community for a long time now and don't plan on moving anywhere else.
