Dance With Me

We are located at Victoria Layout A Cross, which is a pretty decent spot if you don't mind the one-way streets and the occasional struggle to find a place for your bike. The building is tucked back a bit, so you might miss it the first time if you aren’t looking. Inside, it’s mostly just one long room with a mirror at one end and a small desk where we keep the records. We don’t use a computer for the music most of the time, we still prefer the old way of doing things even if it means a few skips now and then. The floor is a bit cold in the mornings, but it warms up once the sun hits the glass. We don't have a lot of rules, just that you should take your shoes off before stepping on the mat. There’s a small sink in the back that leaks a tiny bit, so we keep a bucket under it. It’s those little things you just live with. Most of us have been coming here for a long time, so it feels more like a second living room than a business. We don't bother with fancy lighting or anything like that, just the regular tubes on the ceiling. It’s a simple place for people who just want a spot to move around without any pressure or anyone watching too closely. It stays pretty quiet when the music is off. That's the way it is.
