Custard Apple

Our office is on the third floor of Wama House, which is located on Langford Road in Richmond Town, Bangalore. We are right opposite the hockey stadium, so we hear the whistles and the crowds sometimes when there’s a match on. The name Custard Apple is just something we liked, it doesn't mean we sell fruit. We mostly work on design and creative things. The space is pretty simple, with a few desks and a lot of coffee mugs. Being in Richmond Town is great because there are good places to eat nearby, even if the traffic on Langford Road is a nightmare in the evenings. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and trying to get things to look right. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just come in, do the work, and chat about whatever. The elevator in Wama House can be a bit slow, so sometimes we just take the stairs to the third floor. We’ve been here for a bit, and the office has that lived-in feel with sketches pinned to the walls and books piled up in the corners. It’s just a regular Bangalore office life. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just sit down, open our laptops, and get through the day's tasks until it's time to go home. It's a practical way to run a business.
