Curry Meen

Curry Meen is located at 218 Indira Nagar. It is a small place, and if you aren't looking closely, you might walk right past it. We focus on fish and curries, hence the name we chose. The kitchen is small, so the smell of spices usually fills the whole room and even drifts out onto the sidewalk. Indira Nagar is a crowded place, and finding a spot here was lucky for us. We spend a lot of time in the mornings getting the fish ready. It has to be fresh or it is not worth doing. The walls are painted a simple color, and we have a few tables that wobble a little if you lean on them wrong. We didn't want anything too formal. It is just a place where you can get a meal without any fuss. Sometimes we run out of certain items early if the market didn't have what we wanted that morning. That is just how it goes with fresh food. We are here most days, from the early prep until the last dish is washed at night. It is a lot of standing on your feet, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started, with new shops opening up all the time, but we are still here at number 218 doing the same thing. We try to keep the benches clean and the water jars filled for whoever comes in.
