Flisht Shop

If you head down to Basavanagudi, you’ll find us in the Hariram Complex. We are at Plot No. 8/12 on South Cross Road. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is out walking and shopping. The Flisht Shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot onto the shelves to make sure we have what people need. We’ve been here for a bit now, seeing the neighborhood change around us. The traffic outside can be a real headache some days, but it brings a lot of people past our door. We open up every morning and sweep the front sidewalk. It’s just a regular shop. We sell things people need for their daily lives. Sometimes we just spend the afternoon chatting with the regulars who have been coming in since we first opened the doors. The Hariram Complex is an old building, so it has its quirks, like the squeaky door or the way the light hits the front window in the late afternoon. We don’t have a website that does much; we prefer it when people just stop by in person. It feels more real that way. We spend time organizing the stock and making sure everything looks decent. It’s just the few of us running the place every day. We take turns going for lunch at the small food stalls nearby. Basavanagudi has a good feel to it, and we are glad to have our little space here. We don't do big sales or loud promotions. We just stay open and help whoever walks in.
