Tradewinds

We set up Tradewinds over on Lane No. 2 in Vijay Nagar. It’s just off Batala Road. It’s a residential area mostly, but there are a few businesses like ours tucked away in the lanes. Our building is nothing special to look at, just a regular place where we get our work done. We handle different kinds of trading activities. The office is usually filled with papers and samples of things we’re moving. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on where a shipment has gotten to. It gets a bit hectic when several things happen at once. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the ropes. We usually have tea together in the afternoons to talk about what needs to be finished before we leave. The neighbors are nice, and it’s a convenient spot since the main road is so close. We don't bother with a lot of formalities here. We just come in, do the work, and try to keep things moving smoothly. Sometimes the internet acts up or the delivery van is late, but we just deal with it. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way. We’ve been on Batala Road for a good while now and know the area well. We just take each day as it comes and handle the trade business from our little office here.
