East Ocean Sdn Bhd

We are tucked away in Room No 301 of the Taha Boys Hostel. It is located at 25 2 Armstrong Road in the Shivaji Nagar area of Bangalore. It might seem like a strange place to run East Ocean Sdn Bhd, but it works for us. The building is always full of energy, with people moving in and out at all hours. We are up on the third floor, away from the immediate noise of the street, though the sounds of Bangalore traffic still find their way up. The office is small and a bit crowded with our equipment and books. We don't have any of those open-plan designs you see in tech magazines. It’s just a room with enough space for us to sit and focus. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy, so we leave the door open to get a breeze from the hallway. We aren't big on formalities here. Most of the time, we’re just talking through things while we work. Shivaji Nagar is a busy neighborhood with plenty of food stalls, so lunch is always an adventure. We’ve made this little room our own over the years. It’s not a corporate headquarters, but it’s where we get our best work done. We just keep our heads down and handle the business as it comes.
