Cummins is situated at 266 Gangenahalli Sulthanpalya Main Road, right behind Honeyland Bakery. If you’re looking for us, the easiest way is to follow the smell of fresh bread and cakes. Being behind the bakery means we’re a bit hidden from the main road, which actually helps with the noise. Sulthanpalya Main Road is usually packed with bikes and buses, but once you step back behind the shops, it gets a little quieter. Our workspace is fairly simple. We have the equipment we need and enough room to handle the daily tasks that come our way. We spend a lot of time dealing with mechanical things and parts, so it’s not the cleanest environment, but we don’t mind a bit of grease. The team here has been together for a while, and we’ve got a good routine going. We start early, usually just as the bakery is finishing their first batch, and work through until the evening. Sometimes customers get a bit lost looking for number 266, but once they find the bakery, they’re usually okay. It’s a practical location for us because of the access to the main road. We don’t have a lot of corporate polish here; it’s just a workspace where we focus on the job at hand. We like the local vibe of Gangenahalli and the fact that we can just walk a few steps for a snack. It’s a plain, honest place to work and we’ve been happy here for a long time.
