Crystal Times

Crystal Times is tucked away in the F2 Block of the Midc area in Malleshwaram. It’s an old part of town, and we like it that way. The shop is at number 355, right inside the mall area there. We spend our days surrounded by the sound of ticking. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly peering through magnifying glasses at tiny little gears and springs. Malleshwaram has a certain feeling to it, especially in the afternoons when things slow down a bit. We’ve had this shop for years, and many of the same people come back when their watches stop working. It’s not a high-tech place, just a workbench with a lot of old tools that have been used a thousand times. Sometimes the smells from the nearby food stalls waft in, which makes us hungry. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People find us because they know we've been sitting in this same spot for a long time. Fixing a watch takes patience, and we have plenty of that. The shop window gets a bit dusty from the street, but the watches inside are always kept clean. It’s a simple life, just keeping time for the neighborhood and making sure things stay running like they should. We enjoy the work and the quiet atmosphere of our little corner.
