Crust & Cream

We are located over at No.384/1 on 13th Cross. It’s right near Bashyam Circle in Sadashivanagar. Most mornings start pretty early here. You can smell the flour and sugar before you even walk through the door. We don't have a giant team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us. We spend a lot of time by the ovens. Some days the humidity makes the dough act a bit strange, but we just deal with it as it comes. The shop isn't huge. There’s enough room for people to stand around and wait while we bag things up. We’ve got some old wooden shelves that we keep meaning to paint, but somehow we never get around to it. The neighborhood is quiet mostly, except when school lets out. Then it gets a bit hectic around the circle. We don't do anything too fancy. It’s basically just cakes and breads. We use what we can get from the local suppliers. Sometimes we run out of things by the afternoon, and that’s just how it goes. We try to keep things clean, but there’s always a bit of flour on someone’s apron. If you’re walking by 13th Cross, you’ll see the sign. It’s nothing special, just a place where we bake things every day. We’ve been in Sadashivanagar for a while now and know most of the people who live on this street. It’s a decent way to spend the day and we like being part of the area.
