Compackt Precision

Compackt Precision is our little workshop at 16/A, South End Road, in Basvangudi. It's an old neighborhood with a lot of character, and we've been part of it at this address for a good while. Inside, it’s mostly machines and the smell of oil. We do precision work, which means a lot of squinting at small parts and making sure everything lines up just right. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the lathes are running, but we're used to the noise by now. The street outside is usually busy with people heading toward the park or the temples. We have a small desk near the front for the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the back. Sometimes a neighbor drops in just to say hello or ask for a small favor. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It's just us working with our tools every day. The lighting inside could be better, but we have lamps right over the benches where the important work happens. It’s a practical space for people who like to build and fix things properly. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks done as they come in. Sometimes the metal shavings get everywhere, but we clean up before heading home for the day. It is a simple life of making things that fit together perfectly.
