Our place is at 299 Dispensary Road in Indira Nagar. It is a well-known street and we have been at this location for a long time. The shop is full of watches and clocks of all shapes. Most of our time is spent at the back of the store focusing on repairs. Indira Nagar is a busy area, so there is always something happening on the sidewalk. Our shop is quite small and feels a bit cramped when several people are inside at once. Old wooden shelves and glass cases have been here since we opened. We never felt the need for a modern look. It’s just a traditional watch shop. People bring us everything from expensive wristwatches to old alarm clocks. We take the jobs as they come. Sometimes we are very busy and other times we just sit and wait for someone to stop by. The street outside is usually full of parked bikes and shoppers. We know the other shopkeepers on Dispensary Road well. We have seen the neighborhood grow and change over the decades. It’s a very local atmosphere. We show up every day, turn on the lights, and start working on the tiny gears. It is a simple, honest way to spend our time. We keep the shop open until late so people can stop by after their own work is done.
