Citizen Time

Citizen Time is located at 5 Neelasandra. It’s a small shop in a busy street. We have been here for a long time. The space is filled with clocks and watches. You can hear them ticking if it’s quiet enough, but it rarely is. Neelasandra has a lot of people moving around. Our front window is usually a bit dusty because of the road. We don't mind it much. We spend most of our time behind the counter. There are tools for small repairs and parts everywhere. It’s not the most organized place, but we have a system. People bring in things that stopped working. We take a look. Sometimes it’s a quick fix, sometimes it’s not. We don’t have a big staff. It’s just a couple of us who know how these things work. The chairs for customers are a bit old now. We should probably get new ones, but these still work. We open up in the morning and close when the sun goes down. It’s a steady rhythm. We don’t do any big advertising. People just know we are here at number 5. It’s a simple business for a simple neighborhood. We have a small calendar on the wall to mark the days. Most of our tools have been with us since we started. It’s a quiet way to spend the day, even with the traffic outside, and we like the routine.
