Chulha

Chulha is located right behind the Leela Palace in Indiranagar. It’s a busy spot because of the hotel nearby, and we get a lot of people passing through this area every day. The place isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. You can usually smell what’s cooking as soon as you get close to the entrance. We aren't a high-end, fine-dining establishment with white tablecloths. It’s much more casual than that. The kitchen is the heart of everything we do here, and it stays pretty hectic during the lunch and dinner rushes. We have a small staff who have been with us for a long time, so we all know how to work around each other in the tight space. Indiranagar is a great place to be, even if it’s hard to find a place to park most days. We focus on making food that we would want to eat ourselves. There are no fancy descriptions on our menu or complicated stories about our history. We just opened up because we wanted to cook and serve food in this neighborhood. Most of our customers are locals or people working in the nearby offices who just want a decent meal. It’s a bit noisy, a bit hot, and always busy, but that’s just how a real kitchen feels. We enjoy the rush and the people who come in to eat with us.
