Chamundy Cranes

Our place is over at Dasanapura Hobli in Govardhan Baug. We are located on Manmala Tank Road, right next to Harish Compound. It’s a big open area which we need because cranes take up a lot of space and you can't exactly park them on a regular street corner. Most of our time is spent out in the yard checking cables, greasing joints, and making sure the engines are sounding right. It’s oily, heavy work, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it feels natural to us. We have a small shed that serves as an office, but we aren't in there much unless we’re checking the logs. Usually, you’ll find us climbing on a machine or looking at a hydraulic pump with a flashlight. Being near Harish Compound makes it easy for people to find us when they need help. We don't use big words or fancy talk; we just focus on making sure the machines are ready to go when they are called for. The yard can get pretty muddy when it rains, and we spend a lot of time cleaning off our boots before we head home. It’s a quiet spot most days, except for the sound of an engine starting up or the metal clanking. We’ve got a few old-timers here who know these cranes better than anyone else. We don't have a big corporate structure or any meetings.
