We've been at B 67 & 68 in the 3rd stage of Peenya for a while now. The industrial estate is always busy, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in. Being an engineering outfit, things get pretty loud around here. There’s usually dust on the desks by noon. We handle ceramic engineering stuff. It’s not fancy work, just technical things that need doing right. Most of the guys have been here for years and know the machines better than they know their own cars. Peenya is a tough place to navigate if you aren’t used to the layout, but we like it here because all the suppliers are right around the corner. If we need a specific part or a tool, someone just walks down the street. It’s practical. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit, but we just grab tea and wait it out. It’s just how it goes in this part of town. People often get lost looking for our gate since the numbering can be a bit weird in the 3rd stage, but once they find us, they see we’re just a regular shop floor. We keep our heads down and get the orders out. There isn’t much time for anything else. The office is small and usually filled with blueprints and coffee mugs. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. Just the workspace and the team.
