Capstone Music Academy

We’re situated on Magarpatta Road, spanning across 175 and 152 in St Thomas Town. It’s a bit of an unusual setup being in two different spots, but it works for us. One side is more for the loud stuff like drums, and the other stays a bit quieter for things like violin or theory lessons. We started out small and just sort of grew into the space we have now. The walls have some soundproofing foam stuck on them, but it’s peeling a bit in the corners. You can always hear some kind of instrument being played when you walk by. It’s not a corporate music school with a big lobby or a receptionist. It’s more like a collection of practice rooms. We have some benches outside where parents wait and talk. The instruments are a mix of stuff we’ve bought over the years. Some of the guitars need new strings more often than they get them. We just enjoy seeing people figure out a new chord. It’s a busy road outside, so there’s always the sound of traffic mixing with the music coming from inside. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just teach music to whoever wants to learn, from little kids to retired folks. It’s a nice little community we’ve got going here in this part of town and we like it that way.
