Cane & General Agency

Our shop is at 32 Shivaji Nagar Main Road, right in the middle of Jayaram Market. We are directly opposite St Marys Church, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. Cane & General Agency has been sitting in this spot for many years. Jayaram Market is always full of life, with people buying and selling all sorts of things from early morning. Being right across from the church means we hear the bells ringing throughout the day. Our space is filled with cane goods and various other items we keep in stock. It can get a bit cluttered because we try to fit as much as we can into the shop. The floor is old stone and the walls have a few cracks here and there, but it’s a solid building. Shivaji Nagar Main Road is always noisy with buses, rickshaws, and people shouting, but we like the energy of it. We usually have some items displayed out front so people can see them as they walk by to the market. It gets very busy on weekends when people come from all over to shop. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just open the doors and talk to whoever walks in. It’s a simple way to run an agency, and we have been doing it this way for a long time without needing to change much.
