Canaries

We have been operating Canaries from the third floor here at 262/1 Bommanahalli for some time now. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs every morning, but we are used to it by this point. Our space is not very large, just enough for a few desks and the equipment we use for our daily tasks. We don't really have a big sign outside or anything like that, so you just have to know which door to look for when you arrive. Most of the people who work here live nearby in the neighborhood, so we all walk or take the bus to get in. It is a pretty quiet environment most days, though things can get a bit hectic when we have a lot of work piled up on the tables. We handle a variety of things depending on what needs doing that week. It is just a small group of us trying to keep everything running smoothly without too much fuss. We like being in this part of town because it is easy for us to get what we need from the local shops downstairs. The building itself is older, and you can hear the street noise from Bommanahalli if the windows are left open. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist waiting to greet people. If you come by, you might just find us busy at our desks or having a quick tea break in the corner. It’s a practical setup that works for us.
