Bvs Engineering Works

We are located right off Mysore Road in Shamanna Garden. It's number 2/439 if you're looking for the main gate. The workshop stays pretty busy most mornings with various projects. We have been doing engineering work here at Bvs for a long time. It's usually a bit dusty and there is the smell of cut metal and oil everywhere. That's just how a real machine shop is, nothing fancy about it. We don't have a big office or a receptionist sitting at the front. If you walk in, you'll probably see one of us working on a lathe or welding something in the back corner. Sometimes it gets really noisy with the machines running so you have to shout a bit just to be heard over the hum. We work on whatever comes through the door, mostly small parts or repairs for the local guys around here. The floor is solid concrete and it has some old stains from projects we finished years ago. We keep our tools on the wall racks, though they don't always stay in the right place when we are in a hurry. It's just a small crew of us here. We usually drink tea from the stall around the corner twice a day to take a break from the sparks and the noise. The Mysore Road traffic is always loud outside, but we got used to the sound long ago. We just focus on the metal in front of us. It’s not a glamorous life but it’s what we know how to do.
