Btm Music Classes

You will find us over at Btm Layout 2nd Stage, specifically at Ambegaon Budruk Tal 774. Btm Music Classes is a small place where we teach people how to play different instruments. It is not a big professional studio with soundproofing on all the walls. You can usually hear the music from the street if the windows are open. We have a few rooms with some old keyboards and a couple of guitars leaning against the walls. It is usually a bit messy with wires and music stands everywhere you look. We started this because we just liked playing music and wanted to show others how to do it in their free time. It is not a formal academy with strict exams every single week. We just sit down and practice the chords. Sometimes it sounds good, and sometimes it really doesn’t, especially when the beginners are first starting out. The building is an older one, so the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever isn't busy teaching just answers the door when someone knocks. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. We get people of all ages coming in. Some are kids whose parents want them to learn a hobby, and some are older folks just looking for something to do. We don’t do much to promote ourselves. People just see the instruments through the window or hear about us.
