B. B. K. Engineering Works

B. B. K. Engineering Works is located deep in the Bommasandra Industrial Area. You have to find your way to Sy No. 474/2 3 and look for the 3rd Cross in Kanchanayakanahalli. It is right near Bangalore Paints, which is a good landmark if you get lost. The area is always buzzing with the sound of machinery and the smell of industrial work. In our shop, we do a lot of traditional engineering tasks. There is usually someone grinding metal or welding in the corner, so there are sparks and a lot of noise throughout the day. We are part of the Hannagara Post area, and it is a long commute for some of us, but it is a good place to work. Our building is a simple shed-style structure that keeps the rain out but not much of the heat. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing person to tell our story. We just show up, do the work, and go home. The floor is made of concrete and is covered in various bits of steel and iron. We have a small desk near the entrance where we keep the records, but it is usually buried under some tools. It is hard work, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a job finished properly. We have been in this part of Bangalore for a while now and know most of the other shop owners on the cross.
