Bhoomika Architects

Our place is over in Jalahalli, near the Airforce Station. We are at Gangamma Circle in Kalathur Layout. It's a nice enough area, though it can get a bit crowded near the circle when school lets out. We've set up shop here to help people with their building designs. We're architects, but we don't act like the big-shot ones you see on TV. We're just regular people who know how to draw plans that work. Most of our clients are locals from around North Bangalore. We sit down with them and try to figure out how to make their space work better. It’s not always about making things look pretty; it’s about making sure the rooms aren't too small or dark. We use a lot of tracing paper and pencils still, even with the computers sitting right there. The office is a bit cluttered with rolls of paper, but we know where everything is. You might hear the planes from the station now and then overhead. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We don't spend money on fancy ads or social media stuff. We just hope that if we do a decent job for one neighbor, they'll tell another person. That's how we've kept going all these years. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We’re usually here from morning until the evening, unless we’re out at a site checking on the walls or the foundation. It’s a lot of walking and talking, but we don't mind the hustle. We just want to see the houses built right.
